Job Title: Locum Dentist

Location: Mackay, Queensland, Australia

Employment Type: Contract

Salary: Competitive

Oral Health & Beyond (incorporating KIDS, DentalCareXtra, Snoring Laser Care, and Novogen) is seeking an experienced Locum Dentist to join our team at our Mackay Practice. This is a contract position for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of an extension.

Responsibilities:

• Providing quality dental care to patients of all ages
• Diagnosing and treating dental issues, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
• Performing routine check-ups and cleanings
• Developing treatment plans for patients and discussing these plans with them
• Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices
• Working collaboratively with our team of dental professionals to support positive patient outcomes
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia
• Current AHPRA registration as a Dental Practitioner
• Experienced across general dentistry
• Commitment to quality patient care and empathy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team
• Knowledge of current dental technology and techniques

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be highly regarded:

• Paediatric dentistry
• Orthodontics
• Oral surgery
